Re: How many former Tory voters in Battersea or Merton will be voting differently this time?

Guy, it doesn't matter what the consensus is on this forum because the few people dominating this thread do not reflect the UK. I find it really unbelievable Guy that you expect me to believe that you voted for 1. David Cameron over Gordon Brown and then 2. David Cameron over Ed Milliband, but now y...

Re: David Simmons - Jeweler Garrett Lane

Do you remember how you had to buzz the buzzer to get let in? That's probably a very convenient asset to a drug dealer. :?

From Guy Dorrells "innocent and just curious" (yer right!) initial post, it seems to have been taken over by desperate Corbanista activists. Dont have the time to read them all but If JC gets in, which he wont, this country will be in utter major ****.

Re: David Simmons - Jeweler Garrett Lane

wow, is this true? If so, I'm incredulous. I thought they were great and they sorted out a diamond ring for me and did a really good job (wasn't cheap but still a great job that's lasted). I chatted to the whole family, patted the dogs and have recommended to others.

Holy bloody moley!

Cape Verde - anyone been, is it really trashy?

It feels crass to be thinking today of booking a holiday what with the Manchester tragedy, but that's probably what's spurred me on to want to book a really fun holiday for me and the kids. I read an article by Rose Astor in the Sunday Times recently about taking her kids on an all-inclusive Thompso...

Re: Feeling exposed...

Sorry to hear about that - it really shakes you up for a long time when you are broken into! Seems a strange place to want to break into though - did they take any of your stock or were they just looking for cash kept on the premises overnight?

Re: Best places for Saturday lunch

How about Tooting Market near Tooting Broadway tube. There are lots of great new places to eat and drink in there like the gin bar, Brickwood and Franco Manca and a really nice vibe. https://tootingmarket.com/

Re: How many former Tory voters in Battersea or Merton will be voting differently this time?

Guy, there were good interviews on Radio 4 this morning with people in the fishing industry today and Scotland, all giving a massive thumbs down to the Common Fisheries Policy, so I still find it bizarre Guy that you are so pro-EU since we have a totally bum deal and everyone in the fishing industry...

Re: How many former Tory voters in Battersea or Merton will be voting differently this time?

One thing I find really frustrating that nobody mentions is why the UK isn't demanding and getting our fair slice of resources from Brussels in Brexit negotiations. We've been one of the biggest contributors into the Brussels machine with all of its staff, expertise and infrastructure since the 1970...

Re: How many former Tory voters in Battersea or Merton will be voting differently this time?

That is what I thought too Denward about the UK fishing industry, which is why I am surprised Guy that you are so massively Remain what with you and your family being in the fishing industry yourself - ok, selling rather than catching but still.... The UK has a really bum deal from the EU over fishi...

Re: How many former Tory voters in Battersea or Merton will be voting differently this time?

Guy, who started this thread are you the same Guy as the very nice fish box family? If so, I've bought fish from you but I am amazed that you are so pro-Brussels because our UK fishing industry has an appalling deal from Brussels, while other countries in Europe have vast rights to fish in UK seas. ...

Re: Help London flat too BIG!!

I would re-style the living-room as it currently looks very open and unwelcoming with those two black leather sofas at one end focused on the tv over the other side of the room with the spindly looking metal table near the door. There is a lot of unused space there. Potential buyers can be really un...
