Postby ChickenShop » Tue Nov 08, 2022 10:54 am

Hi all
Very familiar with the top brands for wooden sash, but much less with Upvc sash for first floor and above bathrooms etc if by any chance anyone has any recommendations for companies offering high quality upvc sash.

Many Thanks!!

I just purchased a house worth of UPVC sash windows from the sash windows london company . They have a showroom on St. John hill next to the abacus ark nursery , seem good quality and they have three tiers of quality . The other one o got a quote was SJB sash windows , seemed good quality but showroom further out . UPVC sash isn’t that much cheaper to be honest .. wood sash is £3k+ vat for supply and install per window and the top tier UPVC is like £2.2-2.5k + vat per window . The lower UPVC window is £1.8k + vat . You can negotiate discounts easily . Lead times for all windows are really long at the moment - 14-16 weeks from order to install date . Issue with fitter slots . Hope helps

I've been in the same boat, looking for high-quality UPVC sash windows for a bathroom reno. I ended up going with a company I found after some research, and they offered a great range of UPVC sash windows that were perfect for the space. They also provided a nice balance of quality and price. If you're looking for recommendations, hadleigh glass is one of the biggest names around, although they focus on aluminum windows and doors. They might have some suggestions or even point you to suppliers who specialize in UPVC sash.
