Family Holiday All Inclusive for less then £4K?

Postby anootka » Mon May 19, 2014 11:04 pm

We are desperate to go away this summer to an all inclusive or half board resort with one absolute must have a kids club.
I've been calling around and I can't find anything less then £4K for 7 days
That's a bit out of our budget.
I'm just looking for a child friendly resort with a kids club lots of child friendly things around (2 adults & 2 children)
Good standard 4/5 star
I'm happy to go anywhere in Southern Europe or a bit further afield though would prefer no more then a 4 hour flight
Is it possible to find something reasonably priced between July 25 - Sept 3????
Or am I wishful thinking??

I think pne of AI options to Egypt would work for what you're looking for. We've got friends who've been a couple of times with their two young boys and had a really good time.

Let me have a look for you - I specialise in luxury family holidays to 4/5 star resorts and hotels so will get some quotes. I will assume your kids are between the ages of 2-11 years and you are happy to fly from Gatwick unless you let me know otherwise. If you prefer you can contact me directly at jo@quovadistravel.co.uk or have a look at our website in the meantime, http://www.familyholidayscompany.com. Back later today, Jo

I would also say Egypt. We have stayed at two lovely resorts Baron Palms and Thomson Sensatori, which had an amazing kids club. Only thing with Egypt the food isn't normally as good but we found these two places to be sufficient for a week and enough variety to keep everyone happy. We normally go around Christmas so I'm not sure if it would be too hot for you when you plan to travel. Good luck and happy holidays

We found a good deal for a 5 star resort in Greece (Thessaloniki) with creche via BA deals.

Try the Marbella Beach in Corfu.
It is a great price this year as it is its first year with crèche and kids club (run by UK-based Worldwide Kids so you can be reassured of quality), family rooms with 2 separate sleeping areas, 5 star, beautiful unspoilt location.

Have a look, http://www.familyholidayscompany.com/ma ... otel-corfu

I have done some quotes and for just under £4k I can include flights with 4 bags, pre-booked seats, private transfers with kids seats and a family room (2 separate rooms) on a half board basis for a peak week. If you go on 25th August I can get you Free upgrade to full board.

Another option would be in Tenerife - let me know if of interest! Jo

How about Princesa Yaiza in Lanzarote?
Here's a link:
http://www.totstoo.com/hotel/princesa-yaiza/
Your family of 4 could stay there on half board for about £4,500, including return flights and private transfers.
If any of your children are aged under 3 then it would be even less as then half board becomes complimentary.
Princesa Yaiza is brilliantly set up for children. There's an excellent kids club with playground and dedicated pools and a soft play area for under 3s. A special shout-out too for the popular ice cream parlour!
The luxurious setting makes it a lovely holiday for the parents too.
Have a look at the link for more info or call the Tots Too team on 020 7284 3344

Just come back from mark warner Lakitira hotel on Kos (out of school hols of course)
Very good kids club, food was surprisingly good - lots of lovely mediterranean salads, fish etc in big buffet
Room best I've ever had on a mark warner - we paid £84 supplement for a hotel suite and it was great - 2 toilets, corridors, 2 balconies, walk in wardrobe 2 rooms interconnecting etc
Not looked at summer prices could be hideous/might be booked up
But if you want some activity - tennis, cycling, watersports, pools, beach etc then I'm a MW fan
Corsica resort is very good too. The others are a bit more pricey these days
Check it out

There is no way you will get the Yaiza for £4k during August. They only offer B&B and for around 7-10 nights you'd be looking at an additional £1.500 for food and drinks.

The only all inc cheap ish resorts you will get are the First Choice type holiday villages and Egypt.

Just to correct CoolMum's point, Princesa Yaiza does offer half board, not only B&B.
At Tots Too, we can offer 7 nights at the hotel, half board, inc return flights and private transfers for £4,500, in the last week of August, for a family of 4.
The half board is complimentary for under 3s, so that would edge the cost down closer to £4,000, depending on the age of the kids. And the kids club is included!

Why not call or pop in to see my colleague Anna, our family holiday specialist at Travel Designers, 8 The Boulevard, Balham High Road, SW17 7BW (opposite DuCane Court ) or call her on 020 7720 8484 or email anna@traveldesigners.co.uk - we have access to 100's of different tour operators and lots of great deals - I think our all inclusive offer at the Mazagan Beach Resort, would work really well for you, its a lovely resort and all the kids clubs are included to.

Did you manage to find something? If so, who did you book through? Thanks
