Ditch working from home or commuting into the office and join The Croosh Hub, a new co-working space on Northcote Rd

Had enough of working from home but don’t want to go back to an exhausting daily commute into an office? Working from home is great for maximising time with the family, making drop offs and pick-ups super convenient and creating more time for healthy pursuits and relaxation. But it can also be tricky to get productive focus time at home when there are pets, kids, housemates, partners, and chores to attend to and get in the way, as well as patchy Wi-Fi. Attic home offices turn to ovens in the summer and the necessary round-the-clock aircon is prohibitively expensive at current electricity prices, not to mention carbon intensive.  Human interaction and serendipitous conversations can also be fairly limited… We’ve set up The Croosh Hub to provide a best-of-both-worlds solution to those of us who want to stay local for a better work-life balance but also want to get out of the house for a place to be productive, and be part of a vibrant community.

The Croosh Hub is your work home away from home. We’re located in a peaceful courtyard in the midst of buzzing Northcote Road, down a cobblestone alley tucked between Goys the Chemist and Antica Bologna. Needless to say, lunch and drinks options on our doorstep are unmatched.

Our permanent workstations offer members spacious desks (160 x 80 cm) so that two large monitor screens can be comfortably installed. Members also benefit from super fast Wi-Fi, cool air-conditioning, use of two kitchenettes, unlimited teas & coffee, a meeting room, phone booth, off-street cycle parking, on-site shower, preferential rates at Northcote Fitness Studio across the way in the courtyard, invitations to events and 24/7 access. And last, but not least, we’re a super friendly community of local businesses, start-ups, NGOs, and freelancers.

We have a few vacant workstations left which would suit a single member or a small business wishing to have their own permanent desks but not the long, inflexible commercial leases and countless additional costs and upfront investment of their own office. Membership is £399 + VAT/ month for a workstation, working out at a very reasonable £13.30 + VAT per day, particularly when one considers the monthly savings on a travel card (£156.30 for Zones 1 – 2), daily coffee (approx. £100), savings on WFH rise on energy bills (energy bills are estimated to add £131 to £200 more to the monthly bill of an average household, depending on the time of year and according to different estimates by the likes of the Telegraph and Sky News). Not to mention the invaluable time gained by not commuting.

So come on down and visit The Croosh Hub!

Love having a work place to go to that’s in the neighbourhood and with other like minded members. Beats WFH or commuting. Great location and an inspiring space.

A fantastic space, bright and beautiful, well laid out within a charming mews right in/on Northcote Road. Working for myself, I find can be a bit limiting socially, since being at The Croosh Hub that has changed. Just being able to have a light conversation with like minded professionals working in different industries, really helps break up the day. Restaurants, cafés and the Co-Op practical next door, my dog joins me a couple of times a week and it's just a few minutes from home. I do not missed that commute at all.
