SW London Pre prep

Postby Schoolunsure2025 » Tue Jan 21, 2025 10:11 am

Our DS has been offered spaces at both Broomwood and Fulham school and we like aspects of both. Could any parents who currently have children at either school give us some insights that may help us to decide.
Thank you

Where are you living or will you move to be near the school of choice?

We are situated between the two and would use the school bus provided by both schools for AM and PM transport, both bus stops are close to the house. We really like both schools for different reasons, would be great to have some feedback from current parents from both schools.

Are you North or South of the river?
What year is your child joining?
I doubt many lower school children take the bus each day but it's worth asking the schools for more info on this
How will you manage playdates?

Are there no alternative schools nearer to your home?

Hi there,

If you are equidistant to both, have you visited Fulham Prep too as that is the natural progression from the PrePrep? Our son is at the PrePrep and it is a wonderful, down to earth, nurturing school. It feels like a big family and provides a brilliant start to your child’s school journey. The PrePrep won the ISA Junior School of the year award in part due to the philosophy for children programme that they have introduced from Year 1.

I don’t know much about Broomwood but have a friend whose son is in Year 1 and they are very happy with it.

I would visit Fulham Prep and then go with your gut feeling about which school your child and you as a family would suit best. Hope that helps.
