We've got visitors from USA coming over and they want to visit a traditional pub and do a pub quiz.

Can you recommend the best locally?

It's been ages, pre-covid, when I went to my last local one.

The one at the Devonshire on Tuesdays is good fun but lots of teams (20+) so hard to win.

The Cyclist has the same sort of quiz on Mondays with less players

Grove does one on Thursdays in a different format but a good laugh as well

Can I add a question where are the best Sunday pub roasts in SW London?

We too have guests coming over and they want to do a traditional pub lunch with all the trimmings.

I’ve had roasts in loads of places and in my opinion the Bollingbroke pub on Northcote rd is by far the Best . The Chateaubriand , which I’ve now had in there twice , is exceptional and by far the Best roast I’ve had anywhere. You need to get in there early if want the chateaubriand as it sells out quickly and it comes for 2 people .

@RoastDiner I can wholeheartedly recommend The Pig's Head in Clapham Old Town. The food quality is top notch - above any pubs in SW I've tried.
