You might not have envied their marriage, but you’ve probably lusted after their house: the handsome Clapham home of Hannah and Nathan Stern in The Split is up for rent for £30,000 per month.
Located on Macaulay Road in Clapham Old Town, the house plays a starring role in the BBC hit series.
We see the vast the open-plan kitchen and living area used to host parties, terse discussions in the bedroom and shots of the family’s garden, with a goalposts and a trampoline.
It is in this house that the family drama of divorce lawyer Hannah (Nicola Walker) and barrister Nathan (Stephen Mangan) unfolds.
Where did they live? Had the kitchen been renovated? How much is the house worth? Could two lawyers conceivably afford it?
Now, though, some of the mysteries of the Sterns’ house have been revealed.
