Nailing the Kitchen Layout
Ensuring a seamless flow within the open-plan space was crucial.
“It’s a period property with a modern extension,” explains Paul Welburn, senior design consultant at Roundhouse’s Fulham showroom. “And the kitchen is open plan to the dining room with undisturbed views to the garden.”
The main challenge then was how to streamline a compact kitchen design into the open plan architecture. And accommodate the client’s appliance and kitchen storage requests at the same time.
