Hi,
Yes, I had my daughter there in May 2009... having transfered from NHS care at 16 weeks pregnant.
I was consultant-led, as too high risk to be midwife led unfortunately.
I have to say it was great, it was expensive, but money very well spent. I ended up with an emergency c-section, so it was great to be able to have your own room/bathroom etc, and it was so quiet and peaceful! They let my husband stay on a camp bed in my room, and it was all in all a great experience.
Most of the midwives were very nice, and helpful, although I felt I could have been given a bit more help with breast feeding...
It was also nice to be able to walk around the unit knowing that it was secure and private.
I don't know if any of the consultants will have space at this stage of pregnancy, but worth asking.
Good luck!
A x
