Saw the sad new yesterday that Little Bird restaurant has closed its doors on Battersea Rise:



Drove past today and they were clearing out the restaurant

Very sad as it always served delicious dishes and had a lovely feel to the place.

Have to say, whenever I went it was as part of a a female group, and looking around the men were always short on the ground in there. Maybe that was one of the issues, only appealing to women? Well, it certainly appealed to me! 

Wish them well with their Chiswick restaurant which remains open for business.

Sad to see this little gem close. Had many a happy night there, lovely food and great cocktails, such a shame. I always felt this spot was jinxed as so many places came and went quickly but Little Bird seemed to have made it work, until now at least
