Welcome to your weekly What’s On activity guide from NappyValleyNet!
Some have broken up already, some have only just gone back, some never went back, and some have a couple of weeks to go. Whichever way you look at it, school’s nearly out. Roll on their return in September but let’s not wish away the summer – fully embrace it! With all our lockdown practice we’re quite good at relaxing at home but love being out too. Helmets and elbow protectors at the ready for Zebra Skate in Clapham and Kensington and they’ll be skilled skateboarders and racing rollerbladers before you know it (read more).
MAMAcodes is running an Online Summer Coding Camp for those aged 4 up to 11. Live, interactive classes full of creative coding fun while they learn the basics of computational (great word!) thinking and digital literacy (read more).
Wordplay Wednesdays continue through the summer with creative online workshops featuring inspirational artists to encourage 9 to 15-year-olds to be expressive and creative (read more).
Exceptional Academics is running an 11+ Booster Course in late August, a full week of online interactive sessions in virtual classrooms in readiness for back to school and exams (read more).
And Mentor has a few spaces left on its August ‘Back to School’ 11+ Summer Courses in Balham for Year 5 children heading into Year 6 (read more).
