Eaton House the Manor continues with virtual information sessions until after half term

Last Updated on : 4th September 2020

Eaton House The Manor has revised its strategic review of operations and undergone a deep sanitisation of the site prior to school reopening on Thursday 3 September, producing a Roadmap that takes parents through all the procedures designed to keep the school safe and COVID-free.

Unfortunately, as a result of that review, we cannot welcome visitors onto the school site. This means that, like last term, tours will be replaced by ‘Virtual Information Sessions’ conducted by the Head of Admissions, Miss Sam Feilding with Headteachers, until at least after half term on Monday 26th October 2020. Full details will be available on the school website.

“We’d like to reassure any parents thinking of registering, which can be done either at birth or later, that the whole process will be as friendly, personal and caring as usual, even if part of it is online and I am always on the end of a phone to talk parents through everything that they need to know,” says Sam.

Part of the review, which focuses on sanitisation, recommends no printed copies of prospectuses and other materials for new parents until ‘live’ tours resume, although this is being kept under review. “Parents will get the same materials – prospectuses, results, Q & A sheets, school magazine and more, sent digitally as easy-access PDFs,” says Sam. “This means that they can get fully up to speed from home.”

“We are looking forward to all the children returning and our priority is to keep them, and any prospective parents and children, completely safe,” says Luchie Cawood, CEO. “Having a suite of digital prospectus materials on hand for the time being is the right thing to do as part of this process for the new academic year.”

To speak to Admissions, ring Miss Sam Feilding on 020 3917 5050 or contact her at sfeilding@eatonhouseschools.com, or to find out more see www.eatonhouseschools.com.
