Dear NappyValleyNetter,
Mr NVN has just returned from a residential work conference.
“How did it go?” I asked, when he got back on Friday night.
“Fine, until the psychological safety session where we all had to share our worst mistakes.”
“So you went with something harmless?,” I said, “like you cared too much about a project and got emotionally involved?”
“Kinda,” he said.
“I went first and told everyone about that street party where I was in charge of the kids karaoke and accidentally used the adult lyrics for ‘Frosty the Snowman’ and that ragged choir of seven year olds all shouted that ‘Frosty was a…'”
There was a lot to unpack there, not least that I wasn’t aware of this incident.
Although it does explain why some of our neighbours were a little frosty (sorry – couldn’t resist) at the last Royal Wedding party.
