Re: Graveney Selective Stream vs Bolingbroke

As far as I know, Graveney still offers Latin: my son is at Graveney and will sit his Latin GCSE this year. The school emailed us recently to find out if he'd be interested in doing it as an A Level, so I don't think it's being discontinued. Perhaps check with them to be sure.

Scrapping an old moped?

Hi, I have a very old moped (needs new battery and currently not working) that I would like to get it rid of/scrap. Does anyone know of a reputable company that could collect it from our home and take it to a scrap yard? I have tried looking online, but would prefer a recommendation. Thanks in advan...

Financial Advisor/financial planning

Hi,

We hold some shares in a US account. We are trying to figure out the legal/tax implications of selling them/transferring them to a UK account. Can anyone recommend a financial advisor who could help us clarify our options?

Hi, I have used the Keen Group last week for a 3:45am pick up and everything went smoothly. Lines are manned 24/7 which I found reassuring. I got a text when the driver was on the way and another when he arrived.

Sadly, not having anything to "give" to the muggers doesn't always end well. A couple of years ago a Graveney student was punched in the face because he had no phone or money on him...

Another vote for Homesafe Glazing. They did our windows five years ago and we had a very positive experience. We also had to contact them post installation (one of the windows kept playing up) and they came to fix it without making excuses/messing us around. Very honest guys.

Hi, try All Tree and Garden Care (if you google, you should find them). They are based in Tooting, SW17, so I think they'd cover your area. We used them last year to remove a tree from our garden. They did a great job without charging a fortune. Cheers, Sam

Hi,

I was recommended Danny at Homesafe Gl (https://www.homesafegl.co.uk/) and was happy with the service. I had a minor issue with one of the windows a few months after installation and he came out straightaway to fix it (no excuses, delays, etc).
