Wood Floor Installation, Sanding & Oiling?

Can anyone recommend someone who can install, sand (with dustless sander) and oil a new, solid wood floor? Or just sand and oil? We had a bad experience in the past using builders who were not flooring experts, and are keen not to repeat this! Thanks.

Science Party Recommendations (8yo)?

Can anyone recommend a science party company? There seem to be loads out there with websites that all look pretty similar (and not particularly impressive). Are any of them actually any good? It's for an 8-year-old's birthday. Thanks!

Can anyone recommend a really excellent dentist? I have spent a fortune at Glow and keep emerging with my teeth feeling worse! Extreme sensitivity has lead to the dentist there making a mouth guard, replacing a filling, covering exposed dentin (same tooth) and drilling out a fissure crack in a neigh...

If it's happening at the girlfriend's house you don't even have to be uncomfortably aware of the closed door. They are young adults and will do what they want to do regardless of p...

Repair motheaten cashmere?

My mother-in-law gave my eldest child a beautiful knitted cashmere blanket when she was born. Alas, it now boasts several moth holes after I stored it incompetently. Does anyone know of a knitting whizz or similar who could repair it for me? Thanks.

Ideally tutorial agencies or introduction services function to enable a limited number of connections to be made, so that a pupil can find one tutor with whom to form an ongoing relationship. Unlike B...

Re: My 8 years old has been exposed to ****** by a friend - not sure what else to do

I am a teacher and have recently undergone renewed annual training on safeguarding. You MUST log your concerns about the other child with the school's designated safeguarding lead (DSL). Do so in writing, outlining clearly the information you have. If an 8-year-old is making a lot of age-inappropria...
