Re: VAT for prep schools

Many of the local Prep schools are not part of the TPS which gives a higher contribution of 28.6%. There is a list online somewhere of those schools who are still part of the TPS but many will be set to withdraw or have done so already. Recruitment is going to be a real issue…

I can echo what others have said- GDST schools are increasing their fees 12% from January.

Re: school open day etiquette?!

At our school parents just turn up on the day, there is no need to book though often people do phone ahead to double check timings and register their interest. The pupils give tours and there is an opportunity to speak to staff. The headteacher also gives a talk, to give you more information as well...
