Kids love it but take supplies as the restaurants and supermarket aren't great. My son describes it as his best holiday ever!

Yes I agree with removing from the situation. Worked a treat with my boy, although real bore for me! I gave one warning and then we left. Did mean a few wasted €€ of soft play entry etc but he soon got the message.

Indoor shoes for wide feet

Any ideas where to get plimsolls for a child with very wide feet (H fitting)? The clarks ones were too narrow. The uniform list says white or black indoor shoes / plimsolls, no trainers. Looking to buy in Kingston / Richmond if possible. Thanks

Days out

Had fab day out at Virginia Water Lake today and got me thinking what other nice places there might be less than an hour drive over the school holidays. Appreciate any recommendations for day trips with a four and two year old in tow.

Children's entertainers

Planning ahead but does anyone have any recommendations for a children's entertainer for a group of 15 or so 5 year old boys? After leaving it too late last year trying to get more organised this year.

What age for beavers / cubs

Chat at pre school today about waiting lists for beavers and cubs. Do you need to pre register? What age do they start. My LO is 4. Also should I be registering my two year old daughter for brownies already? We live in Teddington so any thoughts on the ones to get in touch with appreciated. Thanks!

Best beach for day trip

What is the best beach for a day trip from Teddington driving. Was thinking of trying west wittering but any other recommendations that is doable in a day? Many thanks

I take my little girl age 2 to a music class. After the first couple of sessions she seemed to be really loving it, taking part in the activity while I watched and following all the instructions. However, the last three sessions she has refused to join in and sat on my lap throughout. Even if I join...

I hadn't thought about the PE changing bit. Yes my son can get dressed if I lay it all out but throw an inside out tshirt or balled up socks into the mix and not sure he would manage. Surely the teachers help with getting their clothes sorted? Hope your LO settles in ok Petal.

Reading books

My LO is almost there with his phonics so thinking of investing in some reading books. Brought a couple of the oxford tree ones to try but just wondered if anyone had any other recommendations? Would like to buy a whole set we can work through gradually.

My eldest is starting school in September. Having been to the introduction meeting, met his teacher and ordered the uniform it is all starting to feel very real. Someone mentioned they need to be able to dress themselves and it got be thinking if there were any other skills I should be working with ...
