Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

But labour have not said they will cancel Brexit and the damage caused by a Corbyn government will be many many times worse than the worst possible Brexit.

Vote for who you want, the law of unintended consequences could come into play otherwise.

Re: Tooting MP, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan recreates Love Actually scene in quirky election video

Indeed HightreeHouse.

PR over substance.

For the first time ever I will not be voting Labour, beyond belief where the party is now. They would have a particularly destructive effect on 'NappyValley'.

Re: Should Northcote Road have a 20mph speed limit? Have your say!

Of course not. whilst you actually can’t do much more than that speed anyway, if your constantly looking down at your speedo, you can’t be 100% concentrating on your driving. Thus it could be more dangerous. £Millions has been spent of taxpayers cash on these 20mph zones across london, with no tangi...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Li

I don't want to insult the electorate, but how Corbyn is polling 25%+ is beyond me. Corbyn is gonna trainwreck the economy, buy up many organisations with money we don’t have (EG Openreach), abolish private schools, probably tax our Nappyvalley residents massively (inheritance, stamp duty increases,...

Re: Dexters opening up at Carphone Warehouse site on St John's Road

I cycled down Northcote Road last week, I was amazed at how many empty retail units there now are along this road - I can't ever remember seeing so many. So sad as its a great road that should be full surely. I guess a combination of high rent, high business rates and the Internet finally taking its...

Re: Recommendation for will writer

Trinity Hospice do a free Will writing week/fornight most years, maybe ask them when the next one is and donate what you would have spent on the legal costs ? A great cause.

Re: Step2two closed yesterday and Bills now gone too.

There is a massive, amazing cinema very close by at Southside though. Business rates & high rent costs are bad but a constantly increasing minimum wage is also madly to blame - it’s that’s such a bad policy to want to keep driving this up, who pays ? Fewer jobs are thus created and then (as we const...

Re: Homebase and B&Q near Wandsworth Town railway station face wrecking ball

Another reason to despise Sadiq Khan. We need at least one big DIY store locally.

Re: Please sign this petition against the proroguing of Parliament

I find the tone of the original post very rude and condescending - getting very bored of this Guy ranting on here and also Nextdoor website (where at least you can block him).

Re: Aeroplane noise between the commons?

Remember that many of us use Heathrow for holiday flights and for business. It’s a major employer for London and brings in many tourists who spend in our shops and businesses. The flight paths haven’t changed but in the summer we are all outside more, sitting outside thus hearing everything. We also...

Re: Four stabbings and a fatal shooting marks bloody evening across Wandsworth, Clapham and Plumstead

‘Oh for goodness sake’ is maybe a churlish way to start don’t you think ? Parenting (lack of) has a lot to do with the current issues, it’s not up to the State to take total responsibility in bringing our children up. We all have responsibility to know what our children are upto and nurture them. Ob...
