Re: Mother stabbed three times in front of her child in an unprovoked attack in south London.

Time to bring back the death penalty for people like Brazant, what a vile individual. There needs to be a deterrent and this poor woman will live in fear now for ever - thats not fair

Re: More peopled voted for parties supporting a 2nd referendum, than voted for parties in favour of Brexit.

This is boring Guy - have you stepped back to ponder if actually your view isn’t necessarily the right view ? And even if it might be, the majority don’t agree with you. I have not met one leave voter who has changed their mind since the referendum, to the contrary, they are more resolute. I feel yo...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

Guy - maybe it’s now time you wound your neck in on all the local social media and accept that the majority of the U.K (there is life outside the London Labour/Remain bubble) do not share your views and majority are not necessarily wrong. We are all different and everyone’s views count equally. Brex...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

It cost £130m of taxpayers money to take the 2016 referendum though, thats a lot of Tax to throw away having another vote

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

Exactly Julian, its voting for who you think is he 'least worst'  😩 I feel that the  law of unintended consequences will come into play with vote swapping. Vote for what YOU feel and who YOU believe in (no party is perfect), if there is no Party or Independent,  just spoil the ballot paper and send ...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

"I have an idea, I am going to pretend to do vote swapping with someone and then ignore their preference and choose someone else on my Ballot" I feel swapping is totally flawed (and wrong) ... I might do this now 😂 Guy, you seem to have have an issue with most of our Democratic system if it doesn't ...

Re: Creating a will

Its worth waiting until the free Will weeks/months happen - Trinity Hospice do them regularly and you can then leave them a little donation (great cause I think).

Also, google 'Free Wills Month' - next one is in March

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Lib Dems.

But labour have not said they will cancel Brexit and the damage caused by a Corbyn government will be many many times worse than the worst possible Brexit.

Vote for who you want, the law of unintended consequences could come into play otherwise.

Re: Tooting MP, Dr Rosena Allin-Khan recreates Love Actually scene in quirky election video

Indeed HightreeHouse.

PR over substance.

For the first time ever I will not be voting Labour, beyond belief where the party is now. They would have a particularly destructive effect on 'NappyValley'.

Re: Should Northcote Road have a 20mph speed limit? Have your say!

Of course not. whilst you actually can’t do much more than that speed anyway, if your constantly looking down at your speedo, you can’t be 100% concentrating on your driving. Thus it could be more dangerous. £Millions has been spent of taxpayers cash on these 20mph zones across london, with no tangi...

Re: How I’m voting to Labour to Remain in Battersea and why I’ve done a tactical vote swap to help the Li

I don't want to insult the electorate, but how Corbyn is polling 25%+ is beyond me. Corbyn is gonna trainwreck the economy, buy up many organisations with money we don’t have (EG Openreach), abolish private schools (https://www.ft.com/content/33d09a76-dd63-11e9-9743-db5a370481bc) ,  probably tax our...

Re: Dexters opening up at Carphone Warehouse site on St John's Road

I cycled down Northcote Road last week, I was amazed at how many empty retail units there now are along this road - I can't ever remember seeing so many. So sad as its a great road that should be full surely. I guess a combination of high rent, high business rates and the Internet finally taking its...

Re: Recommendation for will writer

Trinity Hospice do a free Will writing week/fornight most years, maybe ask them when the next one is and donate what you would have spent on the legal costs ? A great cause.
