Recommendation for will writer

Hi, can anyone recommend a really good local will writer? Or even not local, if they can do over the phone. Thanks!

Re: Hotel in New York

I've just booked the Sofitel New York for myself and 2 kids. Wouldn't be my choice by a long shot if I was going sans-kids but they are great for families and we've stayed in loads of them. Well positioned, scrupulously clean, excellent breakfasts and good price if you need more than the usual 1 dou...

Re: Opinions wanted - 12 yr old commuting alone w/ headphones on

It's not over-protective. He needs to be aware of his surroundings when on the busy commute through London and he isn't when he's shut his hearing off. My son is a similar age and he's not allowed headphones on the school journey or to brandish his phone around (mugging risk). I know how you feel th...

Re: Nora Quoirin: Family say South London teen missing in Malaysia was abducted

So incredibly upsetting. That poor family. Stupid comments that don't add anything of course, I know. Prayers and love to her and the family and those at the church tonight.

Re: Aeroplane noise between the commons?

We haven't noticed any difference in the past few years (Wandsworth Common, sw17). Obviously we hear and see the planes distantly on their way to Heathrow but not noisy enough to bother us.

(btw, very annoying and unnecessary to preface a comment with, "sorry, but first world problem..."!!)

Re: Which schools to choose. Advice please!

Hi there Elsie. I found it really hard to understand the system here coming from a different country (and still do, 15+ years later!). I am more over the Wandsworth way so don't know those particular schools but State schools get inspected every few years so you should read the Ofsted reports on the...

Yes I'd be pretty miffed too! That is soooooo rude! I'd be on my hands and knees with gratitude if you'd done that for my son and me.

Re: ! Congratulations, Boris !

Yes, congrats to Boris and may he and his Brexit Cabinet now get on with delivering the result of the Referendum after 3 excruciating and wasted years.

Re: Ear Piercing - Tips ?

The one in Topshop Oxford Circus is great - several friends recommended to us. It's scrupulously hygenic, nice rooms and good choice of products. I too was warned off Claires and I'm too squeamish to do the Maria Tash method, but bought several of her gorge-eoso earrings once I could take out the or...

Re: dishonest about bursary application

It's potentially fraud, if not, completely immoral because taking the place of a kid who could actually do with that place (even if sadly they decide not to use the opportunity as in Ratski's examples) and a huge amount of effort goes into funding those bursaries. If you turn a blind eye to fraud as...

Re: dishonest about bursary application

I'd tell the school, on the quiet, and let them decide what to do. I think that's all you can do really. Knowing how much effort goes into funding those subsidised places it's just not on that they go to kids whose parents bend the rules. There is also a non-British, non-EU family at our school who ...

Re: Has anyone ever sued a builder /taken them to the small claims court?

Hi, yes we have. My advice is to gather all your documentation on what they agreed to do and what they have not done; a professional second opinion on what they've not done, and, if you don't feel you can argue your case well get someone else to do it for you. We sued a builder in the SCC for not fin...

Re: How much time do boarding schools let kids go on devices each day?

Great, thanks so much. No for some reason I didn't get alerted that you'd messaged. Off to find it now. 👍
