Recommendations for loft extension builders

Hello folks

I'm looking for recommendations for builders to quote for our top floor/loft extension in Balham. We have an architect and planning already granted so I'm looking for some great, reliable, professional and experienced local builders to get cracking on the hard work. Attention to detail is a must and recommendations for builders who understand that we'll be trying to carry-on with normal family life while they take the top of our house off would be appreciated!

Can really recommend Avian 07539 494379- Justin the owner is possibly the nicest most reliable builder, I've ever met, he truly cares about his results and his clients. He has stood by and helped us after a basement build left us with multiple ongoing problems from multiple drainage issues to damp walls which were the basement company's responsibility but they didn't want to know. He has done a beautiful loft for a friend of ours which are his main stay of work.

We have fantastic builders that we would recommend. They've saved us money, ask for weekly meetings, all of the workmen are employed by them and are polite.
Super professional and more reasonable that many other quotes we received.

I highly recommend New Smart Living, Director Martin Sek. He has just finished a complete overhaul on our house including a side return and extension, as well as a loft. The results are stunning and best yet - we stayed within budget!! We also had weekly meetings with Martin and our foreman for the site and any queries that we had were met with immediate attention. I have done 8 renovation projects with my husband, six particularly in London and Martin has been the BEST builder we've come across yet.

Feel free to contact him and ask to visit his projects (there are loads within Clapham and surrounding area) and come see ours too if you'd like. His decorators are to die for - without breaking the bank too.

Definitely do not use Increase Space! The build leaders are useless and rude. They say they always finish early or on time, but they run over by months, are impossible to get ahold of, don't show up for weeks and weeks, and don't seem even remotely aware of building regulations. Avoid unless you want to be delayed and frustrated for months and months and end up managing the build yourself.
