pesky leg veins!

I'm dreading baring my legs - if we get a summer. I have these little red thread veins so wondered if anyone can recommend a clinic/salon/dermatologist etc who could laser them away. Thank you.

I am in a similar boat so I feel your pain. It became worse after birth of my second (and last) child. I asked my GP what I could do about it and he said unfortunately, not much. If you have them lasered away, the blood will begin to flow through another existing blood vessel, causing that one to potentially swell, thus moving the problem elsewhere. I am hoping he is wrong and someone else will post about their success...

Go for a consultation with Dr Mica at Cosmetica on Hildreth st in Balham. I think she waives the consultation fee if you mention nappyvalleynet. She treats thread veins and might be able to advise.

I tried sclerotherapy but to be honest I don't think it has helped much. Plus it was expensive and uncomfortable. I went to Harley Medical group, they were very nice but I was hoping to be rid of the veins and there seem to be just as many 2 years later!

If anyone else has any ideas I would love to hear them too!
