Northcote House vs Baby Room vs KU Chatham

Postby AS16 » Fri Jun 30, 2017 10:00 am

Hello all,

Calling out for some help please - looking for nurseries from the end of the year for our one-year old and trying to decide between the above three. They all seem equally good from visits and reviews, so not sure how to choose.
Any feedback, thoughts or recommendations would be very very helpful!

Thank you!

Baby room! My son spent 3 happy years at Webbs Road and I can't praise them enough.

As per the other thread - read the recent Northcote House ofsted report first

Hello

We are also looking at nurseries. I was registered at Northcote House for my 7 month old however have changed my mind since most recent ofsted report. Let me know what you have decided? I am looking around Baby Room Webbs Road on Friday. Bright Horizons Northcote also very good but location isn't that convenient for us...

Thanks Goldhawk. We had actually registered at Northcote House before LO's birth, but only got the report from them a couple of days back (after this post). Its definitely concerning.

Runmum - have you paid the deposit already when you registered or just put your name down?

I have a daughter at the Baby Room Webbs road and have been pleased with it overall. It is smaller than Northcote House so you might love or hate the differences depending on your preferences. If you want to ask me specific questions after your visit then you can PM me.

Also, if you are looking around generally, there is a new nursery opening (Apples and Honey) on Nightingale Lane which may be worth looking at if the location would suit you? I have no connection with them, just thought it might be useful for you to know!
