U8s/U9s Football and chess club recommendations? Post Reply

Hello, we are soon moving to the area and are in Honeywell and Belleville catchment, so expecting our kids will go to one of them.

We are looking for Football clubs, ballet or other dance and chess lessons to help our kids meet some friends. (They are all under 8).

Does anyone have any recommendations? We are on the waitlist for Broomwood FC but I’m not sure how that works or if there are any chances there. Our kid is football crazy so really want him to be able to keep doing what he loves once allowed with lockdowns.

Balham Foxes is a growing club that meets on Tooting Common at 915 on a Saturday morning, run by local parents doing the coaching.  Concentrates on skills and fun, divided by year group.  Doesn't have fixtures with other clubs. There is also Clapham Rangers and a variety of others too which do have weekend fixtures .
