Thanks

Hi there,

I work for an education consultancy called Bespoke Minds and we are offering a free initial consultation. We can talk about the pros and cons of each of these schools as we know them well!

Please do get in touch if you’d like to meet!

Thanks,

Sam

Hi, I have experience of both schools. They are both completely different. Depends on how academic your daughter is as JAGS is extremely academic to the point where your daughter will feel a lot of pressure if she isn’t performing on all levels, pretty much from day one. The girls there are all high achievers without exception. There is a very competitive atmosphere at the school.
Putney High is a completely different environment where your daughter will be able to relax and enjoy her education at a slower pace without feeling pressured (compared to JAGS), but is still highly academic. The school is brilliant on the sports front as well. PH produces academic results where girls come out all rounders and is a great girls day school where they thrive without getting to the point of burn out.

I could have written the above post myself !  Similar experiences.  Two very different schools.  We have found PH to have lots of opportunities for everyone (not just the academic geniuses or sporting legends like at other schools... and i speak from experience of other schools!) in a pretty relaxed atmosphere. The sports is really good even for the non super sporty girls. My D  is in 6th form and still plays 2 sports despite not being amazing at either of them !  I have found them also very open to feedback and communication.  No school is perfect but so far I have very few complaints and i think my DD has had a very happy time at PH.
