Transforming a Cluttered Teen Desk/Studio into a Creative Haven

At Another Approach, we love helping families and individuals regain control of their spaces, and recently we had the pleasure of transforming a chaotic teenage desk into an organised, inspiring studio for a talented student preparing for her GCSE Art exam. This young student needed a functional, inspiring space to study and create, but the disarray of supplies, schoolwork, and personal items was making it hard to focus.

1) Decluttering the Essentials
: We began by sorting through the art supplies, books, and personal items. The student participated in the process, deciding what materials she truly needed and what could be stored away or discarded. We categorised her art supplies—paints, pencils, brushes, craft—making it easier for her to access what she needed without causing more clutter.

I don't know about your children, but after my children finish studying or playing with any toys, they have to clean up neatly if they don't want to play anymore, all the things are neatly arranged.
