Bocketts Farm

Postby Annabel (admin) » Sun Jul 13, 2008 10:09 pm

BF is excellent. Its a working farm which has extensive outdoor play areas, adventure playgrounds, live animal handling and (small) pony rides combined with a large indoor soft play area, cafe/bar and a shop. At Christmas they convert one of their barns into a grotto and its one of the best Santas we have ever seen. Its a good forty minute drive from South West London but if you go down the A3 and then head for Chessington World of Advertures (but keep going) the traffic is usually light.

Lets us know if you go and what you think. Link to their website is below.

I couldn't agree more with your comments. We went to the farm a few weeks ago and found it excellent. It seemed a little home-made in that the signs were all painted by hand and it seemed to be staffed by smiling sixth formers as opposed to uniformed clones you see at the central london places but that just added to the appeal. Great day out. They also do a season ticket so you can get a discount if you go alot. My kids preferred it to lego land.
