Do Dyson cooling towers work well? And are they worth they additional money? If there are any other suggestions I am all ears! Thanks.

We had one on our (quite large) bedroom. It made no difference whatsoever. Maybe if you put it right by your bed it would work but otherwise I’d say a complete waste of money. Air conditioning is the only thing that will cool a room down. You can get portable ones that exhaust through a window although they’re heavy and bulky.

Agreed, they only cool you down if you are really close to them. Mine has an air purifier built in so I like it for that reason but it definitely doesn't give you a big blast of air if you need it to cool a room.
