Hey there,
Does the council provide free replacement bins if they are damaged?
Thanks

Wandsworth council doesn’t supply wheelie bins so there is nothing for them to replace.

In the borough, we use bin bags and our own bins or stores, and bin men collect bins and put them directly in the trucks.

If you’ve moved into a house and are wondering where your wheelie bin is, you don’t have or need one!

Thanks so much for your reply.
Does the council provide green bags for garden waste or do we purchase them ourselves?

I was a bit aggrieved to find out that not only do they not replace them (as they don't provide them in the first place), they also refuse to give you any compensation when one of their employees (refuse worker) breaks the bin you've paid nearly £100 for and just expects you to pick up the tab, again...

To find out if your local council provides free replacement bins for damaged ones, I recommend checking the official website of your council or contacting their customer service directly. Policies can vary by location, so they will have the most accurate and specific information regarding bin replacement. temple run 2

In this borough the waste collectors will collect bins that do not provide wheelie bins.
