Heritage High School - any feedback

Postby HeritageHigh » Fri Dec 20, 2024 4:38 pm

Hi
Looking for any feedback on Heritage High School

https://nappyvalleynet.com/great-britis ... gh-school/

Pupils reaching expected standards is below national average, but pupils reaching high standards is above national average.

Any feedback would be great.

Thanks

Do not send your children here!! They don’t care for the students wellbeing, they use their authority as teachers and members of staff to undermine and bend the rules to fit themselves. They’ve been on the BBC news for refusing to let a girl with a medical condition wear a hat, they only changed that when the BBC aired the story. They turn a blind eye to students under pressure, stress and mental health issues and they most certainly don’t care about bullying. STAY AWAY!!! I was a student myself there a couple of years ago, I wouldn’t wish my treatment on anyone and I was a good kid. Great grades and I passed all my GCSES I wasn’t a “problem child” complaining for the sake of it. It’s not gotten any better friends of mine want their younger siblings pulled out of here ASAP

Shocking school since the headmistress has taken over. High turnover of staff, they care more about their attendance records and harass parents at home rather than the well-being of the child when they are genuinely sick, their safeguarding department can’t even return a call, chants in break times, students not aloud to sit with friends on break times, break times aren’t long enough to allow them to queue for food, eat it and go to the loo, sometimes not allowed to fill water bottles that they issued them, they don’t have sufficient teaching staff and GCSE students are behind on lessons, regular testing, worried more about results than they are actually teaching them what they are testing them on and just a general shocking attitude towards students and parents. If your child struggles with anxiety and learning then do not send your child here as they will offer zero support.
