Best beaches from London

Postby Annabel (admin) » Thu Jun 15, 2017 9:38 am

Hi Everyone
With the gorgeous weather I thought this article could be of interest!

From The Standard

This weekend is set to be a scorcher in the south of England, with temperatures set to rise to 30C on Sunday - bringing the hottest spell of weather so far this year.

I know all the locations, but Dungeness on a steaming hot day?? I love the area, but not when its hot.
How about Pevensey beach? simple pleasures...

We're a big fan of the one in Rotting Dean. It's near Brighton and not so crowded than Brighton.

Easy parking at the White Horse pub (better be early on a sunny and hot day), a nice café, historic village, toilets (+shower?) and a lovely beach with even a life guard. You also have the white cliffs!

Downside: pebbles

Even on a colder (but sunny!) day, it's great to walk along the board walk with push chairs, scooter or bikes.

I found the video online
