What a year it’s been since our last guide. A global pandemic has shattered all our lives but not, it seems, our hopes and dreams of living in the perfect home. Estate agents report brisk business while builders, interior designers and all the trades have never been busier, as homes are extended, converted and re-imagined for a post-Covid world.

We have included a feature on where to find space in your home for a place to work, while the rest of this 116-page issue is brimming with inspiration for all the rooms in the house and garden. And we have included our indispensable local trade contacts again to help turn your dreams into reality.
