I imagine they’re looking for dyslexia. My 17year old has dyslexia, reads the entire time, loves books, very bright but can’t spell to save her life. Dyslexia is pretty misunderstood but presents in lots of different ways. My daughter also has ADHD which you wouldn’t notice as she tends to daydream ...

Look on the velux website they have a range of blinds that clip in and even have solar powered remote control ones too. I had them in our old house and they were great and dead easy to fit too.

Contact adult social services and they will alert the falls prevention team - they are a multi disciplinary team of physios, doctors and OTs that work with people having falls. It is really important that you do something but you don’t have to be personally involved.

I think you mean an ophthalmologist. Call Moorfields private and they will find someone for you. I should warn you that unless you have private insurance this will be very expensive as they will need extensive follow up until after the age of 8. Ask your GP for a referral to Moorfields at St Georges...
