In need of an exercise nutrition trainer

Postby Fifi1 » Wed Aug 21, 2024 3:19 pm

Having blamed everything possible and run out of excuses I am hoping to get my exercise and general lifestyle back on track post summer holidays.
I've given it a lot of thought (in between the excuses :o ) and I think what might work best for me would be someone who can help with exercise but also nutrition and who might be prepared to give me some daily encouragement, at least while i get into a routine. Not sure if this sort of option is out there?
If anyone has worked with someone like this and is happy to share their details I would be very grateful. Ideally I would like to work with a female.
Huge thanks.

I can highly recommend Ryan Marsterson at Clapham Leisure Centre. He’s taken me (39) from physical rock bottom can’t-do-a-squat-without-landing-on-my-backside level to strong and toned within a few months. He does both personal training and nutrition and his rates are eminently reasonable for the area.

What I love is that he knows exactly how far beyond my comfort zone to push me and that the results are self-evident.

I feel your pain,  and have previously struggled to find an exercise regime/ PT that motivates me  and doesn’t feel like  detention/punishment .  I have now finally found it in  Liz who is in her second career as a PT ( qualified PT  specialising in working  with  middle aged woman and all the issues that come with this stage of our lives including diet/nutirtion)  -and she is an absolute gem. Full of know how and enthusiasm . Makes it fun, explains what part of the body it will help, great tunes and brilliant chat.  Dare I say it- I actually enjoy it, and stay motivated between sessions. I do 1:1 and even do the group circuits (which previously I shuddered at). I feel brighter, stronger and no longer feel there is a brick in my stomach.
Liz’s number  is. 07876 566 912

All the best

I am a PT and pilates teacher. I work outdoors and in a few reformer pilates studios in the area. You can message me here or on Instagram (the same nickname) and we can discuss what type of training you need, etc.
