Annual Trophy Finals Day
Locally based family travel specialist, Powder Byrne, are delighted to be sponsoring the Broomwood Football Club Trophy Finals Day on 7th May. Broomwood Football Trophy, new for 2015/16, is an interclub round-robin tournament for children from years 3 to 5 (7 to 9 year olds) and a girls section, who play matches against each other over the season, with a focus on promoting friendship and competition across the club. The Broomwood Trophy Finals Day is the culmination of the Trophy where the teams have their play-offs for the Trophy and Plate competition.
Powder Byrne’s kids’ resort kids programmes focus on active sports and include activities such as skiing, tennis and football, so this sponsorship complements Powder Byrne’s aim to promote the development of real skills in sports amongst kids who travel with us.
Hope Powell – former coach of the England women’s football team – will be on Wandsworth Common for the event to kick off the start of the competition as well as running some coaching sessions. She is a patron of Football Action, the charity that Broomwood Football Club supports, and Powder Byrne are delighted to be helping to raise money for this worthwhile cause.
Come along on May 7th and say hello to us, we will be more than happy to tell you a little bit more about our football programmes in our summer resorts.
