Re: Audi car bodywork

Peter Norris do German car bodywork and are very good.

It’s been a decade or so since I used them but I’m still sure they’re worth checking out

I’ve slightly lost track, did the LTN get removed and if so is this a replacement for it?

Re: Kids walking to & from school in Y6

I think it's also a function of the types of roads.

If they have to concentrate to cross a very busy road then I'd be inclined to only let them go when they're older, if they're quiet backstreets then it doesn't really matter as much.

Re: Costs of buying/running an electric car

Can I just check that this means that it more per mile now with electric than diesel?

I know there are many other reasons for buying an electric car but that I did think that one of the reasons was cost.

Costs of buying/running an electric car

Has anyone recently looked into the costs of buying/running an electric car when you only have access to street lamp post chargers? I’m considering making the switch, but most of my friends with electric cars have drives where they can charge them, so I'm curious how practical it is without that op...

Re: Where to take mum for Mother’s Day!

If it's a blow out Petersham Nuseries but it's spenny and probably full now. I love going down to Battersea Power Station, the whole vibe there is fun and buzzy, Meghans is great there and should be good for all of you. For a more grown up feed down there then I love Brindisa too but not sure if it'...

Re: Fake QR codes on lamp post charging points

Thank you for sharing. This is not at all surprising. I think QR codes as a link to payment sites will be dead in a year or two. It’s just far too easy to swap them out with fake ones and before you know it you’ve handed your payment details to scammers. I never ever scan a code “in public” for this...

Wandsworth Food Hygiene Scores

Every now and again I like to check out the Wandsworth Food Hygiene Scores.

There are the usual suspects but Brickwood and Tagine, both in Balham, aren't great.

Re: Which home improvements do you LOVE?

Things I love... 1. mains socket on the back of your front garden wall. Means that hoovering you car out is no longer a pain with cables out of windows  2. Hot and cold taps in front garden and in back garden. Again no traipsing for window cleaners or car washers 3. mains sockets in back garden agai...

Re: Series of 23 events covering 26 days on Wandsworth Common, featuring bands, recorded music until midnight at weeke

Party Park.jpg I'm in two minds about this. One of the spaces is opposite the Wandsworth one way system (not Dorlcote Road) and I think that's ok. There are some very big houses that'll be affected but assuming Mr Ramsay doesn't mind getting his bbq out for us all I think it'll be fine. Seriously, ...
